The first 50 keV
proton beam for HINS Project at MDB.
The 50 keV protons are
produced in the Ion Source, focused in the Low Energy Beam Transport system,
and
then detected in the Faraday Cup. The beam pulse shown in figure below is of 15
mA current, 3 msec length,
and it
is produced at a 2.5 Hz repetition rate.
